The reverse of the ingot portrays a serene rabbit seated among flowering plantain lilies, accompanied by the Chinese character ‘兔’ and the inscription ‘YEAR OF THE RABBIT’.

The obverse bears the Jody Clark effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II framed by matching lily sprays, together with the inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘AUSTRALIA 2023’ and ‘1 DOLLAR’ — among the final Royal Australian Mint releases to carry the late Queen’s effigy.
